Malwarebytes for Mac Beta 5.7.1

Hello Mac community,

We’re excited to announce a new Malwarebytes for Mac Beta update 5.7.1 based on your feedback!
Many of you have asked for the ability to hide the Malwarebytes icon in the menu bar, and we’ve brought it back.

Features and Improvements:

• Hide application icon setting: We’ve reintroduced the option to hide the Malwarebytes icon from your Mac menu bar. You can find it in the General settings tab.

Issues Fixed:

• Manual update confirmation: Fixed an issue where a new version would install automatically when checking for updates, even if automatic updates were turned off.
  Now, you’ll be asked to confirm the update before it installs.

The new update is already available to all beta users and can be downloaded directly from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb5_mac_preview
