IP protection blocks my own network

Recommended Posts

Hi,

First post so apologies in case anything not clear.

IP protection pops up when trying to access a couple of websites that are not known to be malicious. However the IP Protection pop-up says it blocked access to my home wireless network's own IPs. The basic is 192.168.1.0 with my desktop upstairs having 192.168.1.1, my laptop, 192.168.1.2. and I have a printer too as 192.168.1.3. All these so that Zonealarm allows access to the internet and to each other.

Pop-up says"Malwarebytes Anti-malware IP protection: Infection detected: 192.168.1.2"

I have had some Trojans of late but I am pretty sure all is well at the moment. Using Zonealarm SS, Superantispyware, Spybot, and Malwarebytes of course.

Does this mean that it is still finding something on my laptop, or that it recognizes that malware has been detected beforehand. Is there anything i can do about this?z
