NSIS error?

Recommended Posts

Edit: I deleted the old copy, downloaded a fresh copy of the uninstaller, and it ran just fine. So this problem at least is resolved

I was trying to install the flash uninstaller for adobe flash.

from here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Immediately after downloading it, I lost the internet connection on the computer, and I tried to open the uninstaller after, and a message popped up,

"the installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete... (possibly due to a virus, etc...)

It may be possible to skip this check using /NCRC command line switch. (not recommended).

Does anyone know what this means? Or what might be wrong?

If its relevant, happened on the system mentioned in this thread:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...st&p=140015

An "end task" message popped up when I went to restart (and it did restore the internet connection) and sprtcmd.exe was the task that needed to be ended :/

This is a laptop by the way.
