Malicious Process

Recommended Posts

New to Malwarebytes and not a computer giant, so thank you for your patience.

Problem #1

Constant pop up "Malwrebytes Anti - Malware - Malware has successfully bocked acess to malicious IP:" 94.75.221.80 or 94.75.207.146 or 222.186.13.27 or 95.129.144.178. Can I turn this off so the pop up does not continue?

Problem #2

When opening explorer or other programs "Malwarebutes has detected a malicious process attempting to start and has blocked all execution attempts from this process. C:\windows\system32\tritfu.dll (trojan.boaxxe) Select an option below: Disable Protection or Ignore or Quarantine.

Problem # 3

I run Malwarebytes it locates 4 problems and prompts me to reboot to remove. If I reboot and then run Malwarebytes again the same 4 problems are found.

A side note: I had that darn Police Virus and was able to remove all components (at least I think so) and that's when I pried the money off and purchased this protection.

Again thank you for your patience!

Hi and welcome to the forum! :)

you can turn off IP protection by right clicking on the icon in the system tray and unchecking IP protection. Here is a FAQ with more info on IP protection. See below to help with removing the rest of your problems.

Please read and follow ALL the instructions below. Thanks

Scan and post logs - read note at bottom in green

If you're having Malware related issues with your computer that you're unable to resolve.

1. Please read and follow the instructions provided here: I'm infected - What do I do now?

2. If needed please post your logs in a NEW topic here:Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs

3. When posting logs please do not use any Quote, Code, or other tags. Please copy/paste directly into your post and do not attach files unless requested.

* Please do not post any logs in the General forum. We do not work on any logs posted in the General forum.

* Please do not install any software or use any removal/scanning tool except for those you're requested to run by the Helper that will assist you.

* Using these other tools often makes the cleanup task more difficult and time consuming.

* If you have already submitted for assistance at one of the other support sites on the Internet then you should not post a new log here, you should stay working with the Helper from that site until the issue is resolved.

* Do not assume you're clean because you don't see something in the logs. Please wait until the person assisting you provides feedback.

* There are often many others that require assistance as well, so please be patient. If no one has responded within 48 hours then please go ahead and post a request for review

* NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some or any of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run HijackThis, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can

@ Ron30350

It sounds like you have a lingering infection on board that might need some more powerful tools to remove it. When was the last time you updated mbam, was it recently? Please, follow the instructions that Prairie Dog posted to take care of this! :)

As for problem #2 - you want to quarantine the item unless you know WITHOUT a doubt that the process isn't malicious. This is Malwarebytes realtime protection in action - preventing you from getting infected in the first place!
