Computer still acting funny after running Malwarebytes

Long story short: I recently had the Windows Police Pro fraud virus (on a couple different occasions over the past couple weeks or so). I got rid of it the first time with Spybot and System Restore but it came back. I downloaded Malwarebytes and it has seemed to get rid of it as it's not showing up on my computer and I don't get the fake scans anymore. But my internet is still acting funny as I get redirected a lot when I click on results after google searches and I have to right click and choose "open with" in order to play WMP files and when playing a file, WMP closes itself after a few minutes. Also when I want to run any program on my comp, it asks me to choose a user (myself or administrator) which it never used to do before and a couple of my programs still won't work. So I don't think the virus is completely gone and I'm not sure what to do as System Restore "fails to complete" whenever I try to run it.
