kpgumbo Posted September 18, 2009 ID:129027 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Hi, I was helping a friend with his infected laptop and he had Personal anti-virus, UAC.sys rootkit and other smaller stuff. Nothing would run so i deleted personal anti-virus manually, ran rootrepeal and wiped "uac.sys fil" and then was able to run MBAM which got rid of alot of stuff.
