My Laptop is infected with Win.Trojan.Ramnit-5878

My laptop started acting sluggish and sometime did not respond as I though it should with my key commands. Malwarebytes started detecting and quarantining 3 PUPs every day: PUP.Optional.WinYahoo and two instances of PUP.Optional.Spigot. This went on for a number of days. Then I thought I need to find out what is generating these PUPs. I ran Malwarebytes, Eset, and Norton Power Eraser in Safemode. I deleted new programs I had installed during the month of November, but every day Malwarebytes detected these same three PUPs.

Last night I ran ClamWin Free Antivirus. It is still running, and so far it has found 5 Win.Trojan.Ramnit-5878 files. In reading about this Trojan, I see it is very serious. I hope I can eradicate it. I also found Symantic Ramnit Removal tool which I am presently using on my (I think) uninfected computer as a precaution.

I have two laptops sharing a Western Digital MyCloud drive and use iDrive for cloud backup.

Appreciate any help or guidance you can give.
