Hi,

My father is having this same issue when using AOL desktop software. I have the feeling it has to do with pop-up ads, but am not sure.

Do I need to start a new thread, or have you heard from enough AOL users by now to know that this is common enough so that there is a solution? (I did see how to enter a domain in the Exclusions tab, but I wasn't sure if this was the right solution, and I wasn't sure what domain to enter.)

Hello Janet,

You can add "exe.bid" to the exclusions list, but personally I would recommend you to just disable the notifications. That way, you won't get any notification windows, but you will still be protected.
