Resolving Hosts Issue in Chrome

After a few days of attempting to find a solution for the "Resolving Hosts" problem in Google Chrome, I've narrowed it down to, unfortunately, Malwarebytes Premium 3.0.5. I state this because after downloading various tools, adjusting my router and MS Windows, it was only when I turned off MB that the problem stopped. Immediately.

I'm running Win 10, use Webroot SecureAnywhere. I'm a long term MB customer who previously paid for MB anti-adware and anti-exploit, even using the beta anti-ransomeware. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to install MB Premium at no cost a couple of weeks ago. But the issue with Chrome has become intolerable. I also used MS Edge, and with both browsers it takes over a minute to open to open a web page. As soon as I stopped MB, web pages open in a a couple of seconds.

Any suggestions?

Try the latest version and see if the issues still occur (uninstall your current version first)
