This new version is just a total failure.  The simplest program now has me uninstalling it an asking for refunds to ALL my clients.  What a disaster.  It should work out of the box and now this $39.99 price tag is just flat out ridiculous.  FIX YOUR SOFTWARE!!!!!

 

Sad.  Just plain sad.  I lover Malwarebytes until now.  I've been a user for over a decade.

Simple fix. If you have Kaspersky, disable Anti-Exploit. Otherwise the issue hasn't been reported by others.

Not just KIS.

I've read several posts like this, some have KIS, some Norton, AVG, F-Secure, Trend, Windows Defender; the list goes on. With some, it's the anti-exploit, some it's the anti-ransomeware.    You find the one that is blocking you and disable it.

Hopefully a patch will be forthcoming and fix things.
