ParetoLogic and other unwanted software

Recommended Posts

I had the same problem, until I ran adwcleaner and it found potentially unwanted programs. I removed the programs and tried again and it worked. One was C:\ProgramData\ParetoLogic the second was C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\DriverCure and the third was C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\ParetoLogic No idea what those were. They were listed under c:\programdata\Baidu or whatever.

Hello and :welcome: :

It looks as if your post may have been split off from another user's thread.

It appears that you may have had some problems with PUPs??

While PUPs are not "malware", they can sometimes be tough to fully remove.

We are not permitted to work on these issues here in this section of the forum.

Such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.

A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue - the helper will guide you through scanning and cleanup.

Thanks,
