Database Version not updating

The database is always trying to update. The process has been going on for days now. The database never updates.

I have experienced this once on all my computers on the same day, and a few others have reported it, too (as recently as yesterday).
 
I am only a home user and do not work for MBAM.
So, I do not know the cause (though the behavior suggests a "hiccup" at the update server end, rather than on the user's computer(s)).
It is very intermittent, so it may be hard to track down.
It is typically easily resolved by exiting MBAM from the system tray icon, and then reopening the program from the desktop shortcut icon.
Doing so will "refresh" the GUI and show the correct and current database.
 
Having said that, you are running an older version of the program.
So, in your case, it *might* have something to do with the program checking not only for a DATABASE update, but also for a PROGRAM update.
 
As such, I suggest the following:

• Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
• If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)

If my home-user suspicions are correct, you should be "good to go", as I've not seen anyone else who previously reported the issue having the same problem again after upgrading to 2.0.4.1028.

 

If you do see it again, please follow the advice for the diagnostic logs in my earlier reply and attach them to any new reply here.
