trosegrand Posted July 9, 2014 ID:850570 Share Posted July 9, 2014 I also have this problem. I started the scan on my husband laptop this morning and it is STILL running!!! The time lapsed is currently at 11:50:10. I had started it last night and then paused it at the time it was showing 169 Deleted Objects. I tried to cancel and that also did not work. I clicked on the X closed it, I deleted some programs using Add/Remove Programs, Deleted the Temporary Files through the Internet Options. I emptied the Trash. I did restarts between all of these. After all of that I started a new scan. That is the one that is still running now. It is saying 12 Deleted Objects. I would appreciate any suggestions/comments/ideas.
