  2. hi, the question I've is the one in the post title, so if I've a pen disk that has been connected to an infected pc, maybe infected by a rootkit, does a disk formatting completely clean the usb drive or not ? If not what should I do for being sure the pen drive is clean?
  3. hi, didn't find the really correct place for posting this question, hope this is an acceptable one. As said in the title i'd like to know if a virus/malware or infected file can damage other files if it is copied it from a path to another. The question has born while making a backup of some files, 30-40GB, but between this there can be some malicious one, since they are a lot and they has not been checked by long time. Copying a virus can make it execute his code or not ? I think no, but do you say ? thanks for reading
