With Endpoint disabled, the above following didn't make any difference. MB still stopped in the full scan.

I use endpoint since the university of iowa has a site lic for the entire campus and includes all staff & students to use on their own computers for n/c. But mwb justs stops when it gets into the symantec folders. Disabling endpoint doesn't help either.
