  1. Hi, beginning last night a generic host error started popping up on my screen and i have been redirected twice from google to bogus sites. Also my internet connection disconnects for no apparent reason and the only way i can fix this is to restart my whole computer. i ran MBAM and it said no threats but my microsoft security essentials gives me an "DOS:/Alureon.A" trojan and i remove it but it keeps coming back. can i just reformat and get rid of this or will it still linger around? thank you in advance. Oh yeah here is my MBAM log: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 6438 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 4/25/2011 11:26:52 PM mbam-log-2011-04-25 (23-26-52).txt Scan type: Full scan (C:\|D:\|) Objects scanned: 294710 Time elapsed: 3 hour(s), 4 minute(s), 28 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected)
