  1. I ran MWB at least 5 times in the last couple of days, this is my second reach out. I need some help with this, I'm still getting the windows security alerts. The virus isn't blocking me from any sites, or from using any programs. But I'm afraid it will spread, I really don't want to have to re format. here's my log from a quick scan Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 6444 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13 4/27/2011 8:29:22 AM mbam-log-2011-04-27 (08-29-22).txt Scan type: Quick scan Objects scanned: 144868 Time elapsed: 9 minute(s), 4 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected) I'm not sure why its not detecting this windows security virus.... unless I'm mistaking regular windows security center for a virus? I don't think I am.
  2. I noticed the pop ups today, I did a google search, downloaded and ran malwarebytes, THOUGHT everything was clear.. Now a few hours later I'm seeing this "Security Center" virus again. I've updated and re-scanned again, but no luck. I've read posts on this board about combofix but I'm afraid to try it on my own without help, can anyone walk me through this? Could anyone give me a hand with this?
