Hi there, I have tried to go through the "I'm infect - what do I do now" post and nothing is working. Malwarebytes wont finish a scan so I have to rebot, DeFogger worked in that the scan started but didn't complete, I again had to do a manual restart as it did not give me the option. DDS done absolutely nothing and likewise with GMER Rootkit scanner, both unable to perorm any tasks, computer just does nothing?!!!!!!!!!!!! Any further help would be greatly appreciated as I'm banging my head against a brick wall here. Thanks p.s. Using a dell inspiron 1750 with windows 7 home premium edition

Hi there, If someone can help me I'd be greatly thankful!! My computer has a virus, which I'm guessing is malware. I know I have a csrss.exe virus as its showing up in my startup applications in task manager and after some long research online I've seen this shouldn't be there. The problrem is I cant run anti-virus scans or malwarebytes. I can get the scan to start but after a minute my computer freezes and I cant do anything else. I have downloaded CCleaner but same thing happens and my AVG anti-virus has no luck. I originally had a windowsexplorer.exe error and have tried different things from different websites to fix it but again have no luck. Computer is a Dell Inspiron 1750 with windows 7 Home Premim Edition, again any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve
