Tried that and just got another error message 12227,0 finally gave up, don't think problem was with malwarebytes but with CA, so I uninstalled it, and put on a new program. reinstalled malwarebytes and works fine.Thanks for info tho.

Trying to update Malwarebytes I got message: Program_Update_error 122,0 multibytetowidechar The data area passed to a system call is too small I am running Vista service pack 2 Have CA Internet suite plus Connect thru a router Have current version of malwarebytes (Free) have Database version 5363 (12-10-2010) Any suggestions?
