  1. Greetings, I was visiting "scubaboard.com" and Sophos jumped in and refused access saying that it had detected "mal/iframe-v" . The bad site it was trying to refer me to from scubaboard is mag20.info, also blocked by Sophos. Sophos says this about Mal/Iframe-V: It "is a small or hidden iframe within a web page that attempts to load further malicious content from a remote website. Pages blocked as Mal/Iframe-V will often be within legitimate websites that have been compromised by malicious hackers. This technique is used to funnel web traffic from many compromised sites to the attack sites that are controlled by those attacks." The real reason I ask this is a friend had called me saying that she was getting all these pop-ups and ads all over her system while visiting scubaboard.com and that IE was acting strangely. She is running what I think are updated Avast and MB. Searching this forum I can see no reference to mal/iframe-v, my question is does MB protect against this exploit or should Avast have caught it (as well) ? Thanks.
