Hi All, My laptop has been infected with the system tool malware and I am having great difficulty removing it. The problem is when in "safe mode with networking" I can not seem to update malwarebytes as the laptop will not connect to the internet in safemode. As malwarebytes can not perform an update when I run the scan it does not detect any malware on the laptop - obviously this is not the case. I have tried running malwarebytes in normal mode but system tool will not let me open anything. As suggested by Blaze I have tried following the instructions under - I'm infected - What do I do now? but I still cant connect to the internet so it will not download the updates for malwarebytes.
