  1. Recently on my Vista computer I have been getting a message from Malwarebytes: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website: 89.28.82.146 Type: outgoing Port: 22431 Process: skype.exe 2 hits, a few seconds apart show up in the log. Yesterday's log shows a simlar pair of hits, but the IP is 62.45.1.32...each day has a different IP. Skype is running in the background but no active messaging is going on when the popup appears. I am running the most current version of Skype, and Malwarebytes Pro 1.51.2.1300. Scans run with Malwarebytes and Avast show a clean system. Is this a false positive? Thanks, Keter
  2. Recently my higher-end, less than one year old Win7 Pro x64 computer started taking forever to respond to right clicks - spinning icon for up to 30 seconds and most times the context menu finally loads. I also am now getting popups on bootup citing missing files for my nVidia graphics card and Scott's GMail Alert programs, but I can click through these and everything runs as expected. The system is otherwise still quite fast and seems perfectly stable, but I have CPU cycles and RAM to burn, so mischief could hide for quite some time. I run Avast Antivirus, Iobit Advanced System Care Pro and Security 360, and Malwarebytes, and I don't knowingly visit any high risk web sites, but I am online all the time, actively doing research so I occasionally end up in places that are not what I expected. I also try a lot of software and manage uninstalls through Revo Uninstaller. I do not use torrents or warez. I've run Malwarebytes and Housecall and got a clean bill of health from both. But on the HijackThis scan, a number of common system files are cited as "file missing". I know I didn't delete them. Hardware diagnostics report SMART data for the hard drive is all good, and RAM tests fine. I have attached the HijackThis log and to me, other than the missing files, it looks pretty normal. Will someone who knows more than I do please take a look and let me know if you have any idea what might be going on? Thanks, Keter hijackthis.log
