First appearing as Thinksoft Anti-Malware software, this virus then starts to create annoying pop-ups claiming system infection. More troublesome, is the in ability to remove. Tried to download Malwarebytes.....which appears to install but does not run. After install, you can go to program file folder and see that the MBAM.exe does not install. Also tried Stopzilla...same result. When trying to access Stopzilla, a message appears suggesting path/drive not accessible. Also MBAM error message: MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12007,0, WINHttpsendRequest) through a blog i visite, it suggests to rename MBAM.exe file to iexplorer.exe or windowlogon.exe. How do I do that?????? when i am installing MBAM I have no opportunity to rename. anyone have a similiar issue????
