Hi! I use the free Malwarebytes When i click to manually update the virus/malware definitions the whole approx 5.5MB program gets downloaded again Why not only the latest malware definitions are downloaded which may be a few kilobytes in size? Thanks!

thanks Buttons and noknojon for your valuable suggestions my anti virus is the free Avast 5 and i use the free Comodo Internet Security firewall I had reinstalled Windows and tried installing Malwarebaytes 1.46 saved on my flash drive but got the above message So i downloaded a fresh copy of mbam,exe 1.46 and it installed perfectly and updated also a few minutes ago Problem solved! Thanks again for taking the time. cheers!

Hi ! just downloaded Malwarebytes free edition and it wont open to install message says"Unable to execute file in temporary directory, setup aborted. Error 5:access denied" my O/S is Win XP Pro and i am in admin mode when this occurs The mbam.exe file is in My Documents Can anyone please let me know how to install Malwarebytes free edition? Thanks!
