  1. Just got this whilst checking updates. Looks good.
  2. Have you absolutely ruled out the possibility that it is a false-positive?
  3. I think it is a very good idea & the visual display is clever.
  4. I am getting an Error code 732 (12002,0) although sometimes the number in brackets is different. I had the upgrade to 1.4.2 yesterday. I have found that after I ran a quick scan it allowed me to update the fingerprints database version from 3291 to 3292. when I close MBAM & re-open it the problem returns.
  5. I just wondered if anyone else has noticed that the quick scan on MBAM seems to be getting longer. It used to take about 5 mins. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.40 Database version: 2644 Windows 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 18/08/2009 05:26:13 mbam-log-2009-08-18 (05-26-13).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 86100 Time elapsed: 12 minute(s), 21 second(s) I think this is the longest 'quick scan' I have ever had. I am using a laptop though, so that may have something to do with it.
  6. Yeah, good job I restored it! Thank god for quarantine I say. I almost deleted it out of quarantine, but I thought I would hold on to it just in case. I actually restored it before we were given the 'all clear' as I realised it almost certainly was an F/P. I feel sorry for people who did delete it. They must be hopping mad . Does MBAM provide any means of restoring anything it accidently flags as a false positive & which people delete?
  7. Does anyone know what the flagged Driver actually did? I mean was it important to Windows as a program? My computer worked fine when it was in quarantine. (Vista HP 32 bit, Maxdata Belnea o.book 3)
  8. Thank god I didn't delete the 'fake driver' & restored it after quarantine! I seem to be OK now after the update. Cheers. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.34 Database version: 1833 Windows 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 11/03/2009 01:36:37 mbam-log-2009-03-11 (01-36-37).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 59757 Time elapsed: 4 minute(s), 30 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected)
  9. I restored the 'Fake Driver' from quarantine. SAS says I am clean. However I don't know how to get the log to come up. I have never had an FP before. So I haven't posted it. Will this be fixed on the next update?
  10. I noticed that my computer was acting strange & slow. It seemed to have great difficulty in clicking off browsers. I did an MBAM scan & it found a Fake Driver. I have this now in quarantine. My laptop seems to be working far better. Is this a false positive? FAKE DRIVER HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\C...22275 I have it in quarantine, so I suppose I can put it back with restore, but my computer seems a lot healthier now.
  11. I thought I noticed something different. I always tried to avoid the securitywonks mirror as it often gave me problems. This new delivery network seems lightning fast though. It is a vast improvement & works superbly. I always update before a scan so I am up to date. MBAM is really on the ball with security. I feel a lot safer with it.
  12. I would just like to say the 1.33 update (14/1/09) is a big improvement on 1.32. It scans faster & the manual updating is very fast. I had a bit of trouble in the past with the 'securitywonks' mirror, like a few people have, but this new update is lightning quick. Well done, I'm impressed. Death to all malware!
  13. I tried again after updating to 1620 & it seems to be really shifting now! Now that's what I call a quick scan! Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.32 Database version: 1620 Windows 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 05/01/2009 22:14:59 mbam-log-2009-01-05 (22-14-59).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 49352 Time elapsed: 4 minute(s), 29 second(s)
  14. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.32 Database version: 1619 Windows 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 05/01/2009 22:04:04 mbam-log-2009-01-05 (22-04-04).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 49354 Time elapsed: 6 minute(s), 11 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) This seems about right to me now. I am using a Belnea o.book 3 laptop if that is any help to anyone (I believe laptops can be a bit slower at times).
