  1. This is usually caused when an infection has not been completely removed. You may need to use bootable anti-virus CD's to check and see if there are any leftovers. Here are links to a couple of good ones:

    If you need assistance starting your computer up off of those CD's, then please let me know. ;)

    Thanks for the quick response. The computer itself is working fine, I'm actually posting this from it so I think I should be able to run those from here. Will check back soon.

  2. So I just ran a Malwarebyte's scan and the program asked me to reboot to finish removal. I did this and when I rebooted explorer.exe did not start. I tried running it from task manager but I get "Explorer has stopped working" Immediately.. additional info says
