Unfortunately I do not have the disk. My laptop is a sager and when I ordered it it did not come with the disk, which sucks. Is the disk absolutely necessary? I could look for torrent maybe.

No I'm not seeing the desktop at all. I'm just maneuvering around with with the task manager.

Thanks for the quick response. The computer itself is working fine, I'm actually posting this from it so I think I should be able to run those from here. Will check back soon.

So I just ran a Malwarebyte's scan and the program asked me to reboot to finish removal. I did this and when I rebooted explorer.exe did not start.
