  1. I recently read a post about the same problem I have been subjected to. My browsers would open to new windows on its own to different sites, one of them titled news-11-topic. This happens on 3 of my 4 browsers (Firefox, Chrome and IE8), it doesn't happen at all on my old old version of Netscape. In addition, these 3 browsers take a very long time to load. I followed the remedy posted by doing a combofix and it seems to have gotten rid of the windows opening up but the browsers still take a long time to load. I'm still very worried about backdoor trojans and was wondering if there's anything else I can do apart from reformatting my disk? Here is my HJT output... Any help would be appreciated and if you can solve this, I'd be more than happy to donate to the cause... 2. I am not sure how this works but I have had the same exact problem as the original post and followed your advice by using combofix. It seems to have fixed the ad windows from popping up but it still takes awhile to load the browsers, something that didn't happen before. Any suggestions?
