  1. Turns out I simply needed to update Malwarbytes before running the scan, it picked a file called 'Win7.AntiSpyware.2010' which i would guess was the one responsible for 'XP AntiMalware 2010'....Seems to have fixed the problem, oh and although seems like many are having a problem running the setup with Malwarebytes when under the influence of 'Win7.AntiSpyware.2010' (or others), i've found a right-click of the setup icon, and selecting 'start' did the trick when double-clicking would not. At any rate, Ups to Malwarebytes!
  2. Same problem with the 'XP AntiMalware 2010' crap infesting my computer, Super annoying. As in your case, the Rogue was stopping me from running Malwarebytes, so I had to rename it and run it in safe mode, although after a quick scan, Malwarebytes had come up with nothing, then a full scan...came up with nothing again, another full scan.. nothing again!!! I don't know what to do, I just keep fantasizing about tying up the individual who's idea it was to build this 'XP AntiMalware 2010' or 'XP Internet Security' software and throttling him repeatedly.... Though that does not fix the problem..or would it? Can we find this guy?? Anyway, I guess my mission now is to find another malware removal program...that isn't malware itself... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
