Hello I'm having the same problem that Steel Barracuda had in not being able to install MBAM.exe. I followed the steps outlined in the forum and here's what I have done so far. I downloaded MBAM and double-clicked the mbam-setup.exe file. It installs and then when it launches, I get the following: "Unable to execute file mbam.exe CreateProcess failed; code 2 The system cannot find the file specified." I looked at old help threads on the forum and downloaded a renamed mbam.exe file. I even tried the one named 'explorer.exe'. Moved this file to Program Files/Malwarebytes folder and double-clicked. Received the following: "Error code: 730 (0,0)" And nothing happened. Searched the old help threads again and uninstalled MBAM. Then used mbam-clean.exe to remove all traces. Received the following: "SHGetValue failed with error code 0" I then saw Steel Barracuda's post and I followed the first step that was recommended for her and I downloaded OTL and ran a custom scan. So, now I'm wondering what I should do next. Thanks in advance for any assistance that may or may not be given.
