I saw a similar ticket that had been closed, but the instructions given didn't resolve my issue.
I set up malwarebytes yesterday, and forgot to write down my password for Tamper Protection. None of the passwords I've tried have been correct, so i went to uninstall it, but it requires the password to close the program. I tried downloading the Malware Bytes Support Tool because instructions told me to Clean, but it won't let me Clean or Repair because Tamper Protection is on, and I can't turn off Tamper Protection without my password. I'm going to try booting my PC in safe mode and see if that lets me do anything, but I'm honestly a little baffled that the suggested solution to forgetting your password is not possible to do without your password?
