It worked just fine. Thank you for your patience. I just about turned my back on Malwarebytes. Very happy I didn't. I have seen, over the years, people around me diving in all sorts of anti malware software and constantly switch to another one, all of which paid yearly! Malwarebyte was to me, stable, low profile, omnipresent and efficient: the best. Don't know how I got hooked with version 5. At one point my computer was acting up like it were infected. I was able to clean it with newly installed trial version 5: 147 problems!. I tried activating it but was not able to access Malwarebytes site. I signed up with a different email, bought another licence, and was still unable to activate it. So, I spent for 2 licenses which I will never use. I was ready to do whatever could save my computer. This is my main one. I would take me weeks to rig up another one if I had to start over, and haven't got the time for this. (Just had it scanned and it found one infection.) Now I am able to access Malwarebytes webpage, and the code is recognized. I'll stick to version 4 for now on. Thanks again! Very much appreciated!!

Thank you for the information. Following your suggestion, I have uninstalled Malwarebytes , downloaded the new version, renewed my password to your site, bought a new license. Ever since, I am not able to access my account to activate Malwarebytes. I signed up for with another email address. This new account will not let me in either. In both cases, the verification code is always considered incorrect. I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE WITH THE OLDER VERSION! Why does it seem we're going backwards while updating. I HAVE NEVER HAD A SINGLE INSTANCE, THROUGH ALL THESES YEARS, WHERE I LOST MY COMPUTER BECAUSE OF A VIRUS! NEVER! Now I am without protection!

Been using Malwarebytes on this computer for over 15 years. It's the first time it totally stopped updating. Protection is still enabled
