I recently ran a scan on my laptop and malwarebytes detected malware.heuristic.2051 as a potential threat when i tried to log into malwarebytes forums i couldn't acess it neither on my laptop nor on my phone and i get ERR_TIMED_OUT error that the website is taking too long i tried quarantaining the files and turn on the malwarebytes extension for my browser and i can now acess the websites on my laptop but not on my phone

I tried downloading chrome but when opening the setup application a window opens that i never encoutered before while downloading chrome .Usually it starts installing right away .

can i log into my google accounts from other browsers then?

Thank you so much for your help i can't express enough how grateful i am . So far my laptop is doing great no windows popped up but i'lll keep an eye on it in case something happeni will let you know. I will also need to install chrome and see if the problem persists. If it's possible may i know what was the problem and what's the source of whatever malware was infecting my laptop? Again i really appreciate the time and effort you guys put into helping me thank you 😊

UPDATE : the fixing process is finished i only got the txt file there's no zip file on my desktop do i need to redo the process ? Fixlog.txt

ok thank you i had a problem with running Farbar it wasn't reponding at first the fixing process is taking some time and edge keeps closing on its own idk if that's normal or not but either way i will update you guys as soon as it finishes.

may i please know what's the problem with my laptop ?also the file Fixlist.txt is getting blocked by edge is it safe?

Thanks fpr the reply i tried following the steps you mentioned i also used Microsoft Safety Scanner that keeps returning a number of infected files without actually reoving them . one time it returned a malware :VirTool:Win32/DefenderTamperingRestore not sure if it's fixed or not . Anyway here's the logs for anyone who can help me and at in the meantime the problem is still occuring. mbst-grab-results.zip
