  1. I've been home a week and testing laptop everyday. With wifi turned of in bios it has been reliable. New wifi card has arrived so I am working up the courage to open case and replace. I'll post another update after I replace card. Thanks for helping me get this far.
  2. Thank you, My apologies I've been away travelling in remote areas. I thought I'd posted an update from my phone but it hasn't appeared. Latest progress is I turned off wifi in BIOS and machine has been reliable for a week and its been turned off while I've been away. I turned it on tonight and its rebooted but that was to install updates. It hung while updating but I turned it on and off and it completed updates. I've also ordered a replacement wifi card which should arrive any day. I'll install when it arrives a give a further update. Thank you both.
  3. While doing this latest testing I have paused updates. I've had a couple of days of testing with no BSOD but got one booting up yesterday so I ran another Sysnative log collector and attached. I have also observed that since external clean and reboots sometimes windows finds my wifi card and it works for a while and other times wifi is not present. Earlier you noticed Is it time to replace wifi card? SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip
  4. I only saw message briefly but I think the BSOD said "Windows was not properly shut down" and then rebooted. Since then I have been rebooting into regular W11 (without a network connection) opening and closing files playing a bit etc without a crash. Could it be a network hardware or software issue? I'll reconnect blue cable today and see what happens
  5. Found a dump from a few days ago I've only had one BSOD since spraying and that related to bad shutdown 041124-11171-01.dmp
  6. Yes cleaned laptop from outside ports keyboard etc. Should I open it up and spray compressed air on internals?
  7. Q. What are you running when using your laptop? A. Web browsers, Excel, Word, Email nothing too demanding Q. Have you cleaned your laptop from dust since you bought it using compressed air spray? A. No. Not with compressed air I'll do that today
  8. I eventually got Driver Verifier to complete CUsersrc211verifier query.txt
  9. Thank you @axe0 Yes when I ran Lenovo Diagnostics it indicated machine was running hot sometimes but it doesn't feel particularly hot to touch On many occasions after I reset machine it is reliable sometimes for days but if I shutdown and restart the BSODs return Wifi disappeared for a period, no driver, nothing in settings then on my last reset reappeared and worked fine until a day or so later when I shut down over night and started machine in the morning and BSODs returned
  10. Tried DRIVER VERIFIER and it did it's job, I 've got nothing but BSODs After about 5 hours I've restored back the restore point that I created in step #1 I've run another SysnativeFileCollectionApp Which I have attached I typed verifier /query in a cmd and got "no drivers are currently verified" There was no dump file at c:\windows\minidump,or anywhere else SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip
  11. Lenovo YOGA 920-13IKB, Product Number: 80Y7003PAU, Bios Version: 5NCN41WW Pre-installed operating system Win10 Home (Redstone) (x64) Purchased 2017 upgraded to Windows 11 via Windows Update Multiple BSODs Lenovo laptop W11 reset multiple times but BSODs even come back usually start after a shutdown and subsequent restart and gradually increase in frequency but never generate logs BSODs started around Dec Jan just occasionally then got worse until reset was only option. Reset multiple times, look good at first (for a couple of days) then BSOD cycle would repeat Have run multiple diagnostics Windows, Lenovo Smart Performance, WhoCrashed but none have found anything however at some point Wifi has disappeared, no Network adapter or settings For this reset I installed Logitech Mouse and Keyboard and let MacAfee scan.(found nothing) Ran SysnativeFileCollectionApp and have 3 SysnativeFileCollectionApp zips 1 ran overnight but didn't complete, next ran to completion & third ran immediately after Blue Screen (i didn't see the code it was too quick. I have photos of a couple of BSODs from a while back) Do I upload here? Can't see where anyone else has uploaded so I am being cautious Thank you for you help
  12. I relegated that laptop to a test machine and I have some time so I'm treating it as a learning experience but thanks for the counsel, really appreciate the help I'm getting here
  13. Thank you @Porthos my laptop is frustrating me a lot but the upside is I'm learning a lot. I had no idea what BSOD stood for a month ago
  14. Thank you I just BSODed again so I'm resetting but I'll read those references
  15. Thanks I tried that but I'll try again I think you are right AVG. No I don't have AVG installed I assumed it was bloat from reinstalling Windows after my recent spate of BSODs It happened right after I installed Whocrashed to see if I could get better info on BSODs
  16. I stumbled on this thread while trying to find out why MW looked different on my family computers. Now I know thanks to this post. Personally I like the 5 dashboard it shows me what's happening with our computers (although it does just randomly rename one of them which is weird) The VPN thingy is great for me simple and where it makes sense for me. I can see others hate this new interface with a passion. Why not just have a configuration option to manage bottom half of dashboard? What is unclear to me is does 5 do a better job of protecting me and my family? AGV? popped up on one and said I had 6 major issues and I should install AGV immediately. Microsoft and 5 said I was fine.
  17. Thank you @Porthos. I meant to reply earlier but I have been plagued by BSODs and had to reload windows multiple times and as a result I now have version 5 and no pups but I did appreciate your patience and I follow your explanation. Thanks again.
  18. That looked very complex. I'll need to wait until somebody with more technical ability than me can help
  19. Anybody able to explain why I have PUPs in morning scan but not afternoon?
  20. Here's the other weird thing I haven't quarantined or deleted anything in last 4 days and in the mornings I have PUPs but not in the afternoons Any idea what's going on?
  21. How would I recognise them their all called "PUP.Optional.PushNotifications.Generic" ?
  22. I use push notifications but recently I keep getting messages from Malwarebytes cans PUP.Optional.PushNotifications.Generic What does it mean? Should I be concerned? Will deleting or quarantining stop me getting notifications? Can i have a simple explanation please, I'm not technical?
