  2. Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope this message finds you well. I represent Protectstar Inc.. We have received reports by multiple users that your Malwarebytes product for Android (org.malwarebytes.antimalware) detects our Antivirus AI app (server version; download https://www.protectstar.com/download/android/antivirus/antivirus.apk) as threat. This is had not been the first time and a final feedback from your side is still missing: We would appreciate it if you could provide us with more information regarding this detection. Our team takes security matters seriously, and we are committed to ensuring the integrity and safety of our software. Any insights or details you can share about the flagged detection would be invaluable in our efforts to address and resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue, and we look forward to your response. Best Regards,
  3. Hi @mbam_mtbr Is there any news regarding the addition of the website version? Best regards,
  4. Hi @mbam_mtbr thank you for whitelisting our Google Play Store app version. We are familiar with the signing practices of the Google Play Store as well as the resigning methods of malware. We understand the valid concerns. There are several internal reasons behind the choice of a separate certificate for the website version of our app. We truly value the initiative to verify with us before taking swift action. Either way, neither version poses any threat. We would appreciate adding the website version as well since it is not a potential ransomware. Best regards,
  5. @Porthos Thank you for the information. While the feature itself is a good thing, in this case, the detection is misleading, leading our users to either reach out to us for clarification or uninstall our software. We also have reports of users that get this popup after installing from Google Play. After looking at other threads in this forum, it might be best to whitelist the app and its variants after further investigation by Malwarebytes. Best Regards,
