Sorry... I probably should have just answered with yes or no, but I was trying to thank you and worded it multiple ways and was being flagged. I would like to stay with malwarebytes as long as I can use it without issue for free, as I already have mcAfee and wanted extra protection

Yes thank you! I had restarted my computer and it was able to get further so I can see the scan, but it keeps freezing up and I still can't delete some of the processes running in task manager. Is mcAfee affecting it?

I just want to set a precursor and let you know I am pretty technically challenged I did a clean install of Malwarebytes, and now I am unable to uninstall Malwarebytes, I can't open Malwarebytes at all either. It just freezes up, I got to the menu where it asked to enter an email address and then it freezes up on me. Usually when this happens I refer to the task manager and clean up some background instances it may have had and start again, but I can't delete MBAMService and it says access denied. Per the web I installed and try running Malwarebytes support tool, click dont have ticket, malwarebytes wont open, and then it gets stick on the first process, freezes and closes up.
