  1. File attached. Thanks again. kprm-20231002213544.txt
  2. Everything is running great! No issues. No infections. Not sure how the registry keys got changed - but your registry fix did the trick. The MSERT gave over 100 false positives - but when I looked at the log, it said everything was clean. Scanned over 4,000,000 files. Ran it a second time and same thing -- no issues. Thanks again for all your help.
  3. Ran MSERT today. Here is the log. Thanks again for your assistance. msert.log
  4. Reviewed the log. Have uninstalled software informer. I like CCleaner - so I will keep it for now. Will run these other items tomorrow or later in the week. Just for testing I rebooted the computer once - and did a hard shutdown and re-turn on to see if all still was good -- and it was!! May be a while till I do the above -- probably by the end of the week. Thanks much for your assistance!!
  5. Root Admin -- sorry for the delay. I redid your procedure and this time I think I got it correctly. Attached. FSS.txt
  6. Thank you, Root Admin. As directed, please find attached the fixlog.txt file. Fixlog.txt
  7. You are correct. I was too optimistic. MB is running fine - but windows defender is not. As per your instructions, attached is the latest FSS.txt file (run as administrator and other services checked). FSS.txt
  8. FYI -- This morning after bootup and having my machine on for about 45 minutes -- I have the below....... It is beyond me what has happened -- but everything seems to be working. I am not sure how you did it -- but I thank you!
  9. Thanks. -- I appreciate this - but I have an issue here. Here is what my screen looks like for System Recovery. It does not have the option to Fix problems using Windows Update. Also, FYI, I have copied the system about screen so you can see my current version of Windows 11 is. I am Windows 11 Pro. I may need another option.
  10. Here is the tool and options I have. I checked every box. The fss log is attached. FSS.txt
  11. Attached is FSS.TXT. Again, thanks for all your assistance. FSS.txt
  12. Here is the fixlog.txt. Should I do the next step? I will stop so you can view the log. -- Thanks! Ken Fixlog.txt
  13. Thanks to all who have helped. This appears to be a Windows Defender Firewall issue. The Base Filtering service engine is denying me access. Not sure what that is -- but it seems to be the root of the issue.
