    I'm not certain whether this is malware, however it is a popular software that is well-known and reputable. No one has reported any issues using it. I've attached the exe (zipped as you can't upload .exes). The developers say you can view the code with DNSpy (https://github.com/dnSpy/dnSpy/releases) Comet_Updating_System_.zip
