OK, thank you, this solved it!

I can reach the site when the VPN is off. The VPN is set for Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Malwarebytes Privacy is version 3.17.0.830. Malwarebytes is 4.6.7.301 (updated it just now). Browserguard wants me to go Premium, but I already have subscriptions to Malwarebytes. Bol.com is still blocked.

05:51 CET and it's still blocked.

Since a few days, at least, major e-commerce site bol.com gets blocked (403: access denied).

I have in the mean time had some time to follow most of the above steps. Apologies if I came across ungrateful for these helpful suggestions. I think I am OK for now!

Well...I read your msg and I thought "geez that's a lot to do". I planned to do it somewhere in the weekend but then the connection became available of its own accord. So, although the problem technically wasn't solved, I didn't do anything else. Next time I am unable to connect for a longer time I will use your solution.

So...I posted a problem yesterday, and it seemed solved when I updated to the latest version...but now it turns out it just take a little longer before the Notifications start showing. So unfortunately it hasn't been resolved yet :-(

My version was not the latest, though it wasn't very old either (I guess a few months). This seems, remarkably, to have fixed the issue. Thanks for the tip. I'll update the next time I have any problems, *before* posting here and wasting your time ;-)

I already added the app to the Allow List...but I still get the notifications... By the way, Soulseek is not Torrent-based. You always actually download from one person at a time.

When I use Soulseek (which is a p2p file sharing program), I often get a bunch of Malware Bytes popups about blocked IP addresses via the Soulseek app (usually "Trojan", "compromised" or "malware"). I think these are thrown because Soulseek has a feature where you can tell it to search for specific files you're looking for. Also, I think (I am not sure) it checks your Soulseek shared folders to see if you have files other people are looking for. This never actually downloads anything, it just looks. I have added the Soulseek app to the Allow List, but I still get all these messages. Sometimes there are so many notifications that I cannot get to any other internet sites because things lock up. That might have something to do with my also using Maylwarebytes Privacy. I'd like to have Soulseek not checked at all (which is why it's on the Allow list). How would I do that? And how real is the threat of Malware or Trojans via Soulseek if I basically only exchange mp3/flac/txt/jpg/png files?

Malwarebytes Privacy cannot connect to any server (I tried a varied bunch). This has happened a few times in the past months, and I have also regularly posted about it here. I got the suggestion to download a tool and then also re-install MWB Privacy. That's OK if it happens a few times, but it's happening too often, to be frank. This is the 3rd or 4th time it's happened to me. Every time I need to re-configure MWBP too. Including the excluded apps and the like. I would like one of the two following things to happen.... 1) A version of MWBP that is always able to connect or 2) A step-by-step guide to reinstalling MWBP without losing any settings I'd prefer 1).

For the past few days, Malwarebytes Privacy has not been able to connect. I tried restarting the computer and choosing different VPN server locations, but to no avail. What's up?

I have in the mean time disabled "Excel Macro 4.0 Abuse Prevention" in "Security" > "Advanced" > "Application behavoir detection" and the file now loads properly. I am now, however, less well protected...

I have an Excel spreadsheet that I added VBA routines to. Since about two weeks I have not been able to open it anymore because MalwareBytes warns me of a VBA 4.0 exploit. I have managed to open it (restoring it from quarantaine and disabling MalwareBytes) and checked all VBA procedures, and all VBA stuff is mine. So I added the file to the Allow list. Still the same thing happened. So I added the entire folder that it's in to the Allow list. Still the same thing happened. So I added the accompanying Previously Detected Exploit. Still the same thing happened. I am pretty sure that is not how it's supposed to work. Or am I missing something?
