Yes, but I have most on the external hard drive. If you're suggesting a factory restart, I'll try geek squad first to see about at least backing up the hard drive before a complete wipe. What was in the last update that could do this?

Same. When I went to the install screen on the Recovery page, it showed the USB was in D, not X. Would that make a difference?
