This is the detection applet from systemrequirementslab. It might not fall under false positive as it might be potentianly unwanted if the user forgets to delete it after using the site. But I figured someone could take a look. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/745231b114be9c085ecbe47d390dcaf2d7756af6f73705e92bc79028dd1a6d63?nocache=1 According to system requirements lab it only is supposed to collect hardware info not any personal info. Is it unsafe? url:https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

Thanks. I never had any other issue than malwarebytes quarantining the file.

Here are the two files. Hope it helps. hope this information can not be used for something malicious since anyone in here can download it, not just trusted users. Fixlog.txt AdwCleaner[S00].txt

I am waiting for the scan. Thank you for helping, although I am still not sure how this could be a malware file as it is a well known program used by many people and I got it directly from the creators github. If it is malicious it is gonna be a small scandal I think.

I see that I still have fast start up on in the logs. I guess I did that step wrong. Let me know if I need to redo it.

Hi. I have asked about this a while ago and was adviced it was likely a false positive (on virustotal not malwarebytes). Forgot all about it but ran a routine system scan today but now suddenly malwarebytes flagged it as malware. And now when I run it at virustotal it comes up with lots of detectioons. before it was only a 1-3. Here is a link to the file on virustotal: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/5a4cf693cc176b5a6ccfa6b36f1c4c125c96b097c3e1edc1ecf02a691bb28895

Ds4 windows is a free program that allowes you to use a playstation controller on pc. Recently there has been some info floating around about "dobious unoficial sites that offer a download of the program. One of these is actually the first hit on google. Now to my small concern. I downloaded it directly from the github here: https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases Malwarebytes doesn't react to it put running one of the files (not the aplication but the biggest file) through virustotal here [invalid link removed - AdvancedSetup] yields 1 positive. Probably just a false positive but with the concern on my mind already from imposter files out there I got a bit concerned. Maybe someone knowledgable could take a look for me? I would apprecieate it.

Yeah. Thank you again. I was just wondering: Do you think I have a trojan or is this a case of one of the sources I was downloading from and later seeding also has been known host a trojan? Should I just leave it a all my scans are clean do you think? -

Thank you. I have one outbound from using qbittorrent. I only download tv episodes from trusted vendors and scan them before viewing but maybe I should stop that. -

Although I have used football streaming webistes in the past but allways with adblock and script block and never gotten anything. Any Ideas what this is? I uploaded the file in question to virustotal also and will post results below.
