Scanning a specific folder doesn't detect PUPs

Hi, If I do a global scan of my system, Malwarebytes detects 40 PUPs in my Chrome data folder (40 lines like this: PUP.Optional.PushNotifications, C:\Users\thoma\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 1\Sync Data\LevelDB\000005.ldb, No Action By User, ......) But if I right-click on the "User Data" folder that contains all these PUPs and do "Scan with Malwarebytes", the scan doesn't detect anything. Is that normal? Thanks!
