Recently my wife ran in to that annoying AntiVirus Pro 2010. Popup came up that she thought was legit, but of course infected her computer (Windows XP). Long story short, I seem to have completely eliminated the virus but I'm left with the aftermath. While there's tons and tons of information on removing the virus out there, there's little to none about cleaning up its mess. Right now the computer operates completely fine except for one thing - it has completely shut off all internet ports on the pc. They've been closed and she can not access the internet and I have no clue how to repair the problem. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it since my only other option is a wipe now. Thanks.
