I used brave on windows, it downloaded to file explorer and I still got the same message. This is the only application I've had this issue with.

Ok, I have it placed on the windows desktop so I'm not sure what you mean. My mac has parallels on it and I have a mac side and a windows side.

Yes. I'm downloading to the windows side and still get the same error message with the link you provided.

Error message: "The Malwarebytes installer cannot be run from a network drive." I'm not sure what to do.
