So if those settings are toggled off, and I check for updates, then I will only receive definition updates. Is that correct ? Do you know if version 3 is still receiving definition update? Thank you for your replies.

I really liked the way it worked in malwarebytes 3. Just 2 clicks (via system tray) and the program updated the definitions in the background. I downloaded version 4 and when I did the first update check, I was offered an update via a new installer. It’s not an experience as smooth and subtle as it was in version 3. That is, unless there is a definition update only option.

Dear, I have two questions that I would like to ask. Please find them below. Can we still continue using Malwarebytes 3 (since it's under EOL on the website). Will it still receive definition updates? I also wanted to know if there's a way in Malwarebytes 4 to only(!!) update the definitions (not the program or components). Thanks for your reply.
