  1. I'm attaching the only log file from AdwCleaner. I hope it's the one you want. It didn't find much, just stuff from the device booster and Advanced System Care, which I uninstalled a long time ago (I thought). AdwCleaner[S00].txt
  2. Thank you, Porthos. I am logged in, and it just won't download. I uploaded photos of what's happening.
  3. I can do that. It saves it as attachment.htm with zero bytes, and yes, it's in the Downloads folder.
  4. It's doing the same thing. The right click is only showing it as a link. ie., Open link in new tab; open link in new window; Save linked content as. I saved it as all files, changed the name to fixlist.zip, and it says access is denied. Also, both attachments also show "unavailable" under the file name.
  5. When I try to save the attachment, it wants to save it as an html file. If I change it to all files and set the name as fixlist.txt, it doesn't save at all.
  6. I have no idea what that is. I have no idea what most of the stuff is.
  7. Hmm. It doesn't sound good. I did use CC cleaner and Driver Booster recently, because I thought it might help speed things up. I can't say that I ran them before or after I installed Malwarebytes. I also just installed Windows 10, like Christmas day. Most of the other software is work related. Actually, the computer is running great, going into sleep mode and waking up with no problems, since I uninstalled MB. I read somewhere about dong the clean uninstall from safe mode, then installing it in safe mode. Do you think that would make a difference?
  8. Maurice, I really appreciate your help! My previous reply should have said that I uninstalled MB, not installed it. I just saw the typo. I think you got the meaning, though. LINDA-HOME.zip
  9. It's definitely Malwarebytes causing the problem. I just installed it, and everything is running perfectly without it.
  10. I put the computer to sleep overnight. This morning, it's back to being very slow. It's not almost stopped, like it was, but it's still unacceptable. Do you have any more suggestions?
  11. So I left the computer for a few hours. When I came back to it, Outlook kept freezing - until I exited Malwarebytes.
  12. I just exited MB and checked the services, and the MBAMService is stuck on "stopping."
  13. I didn't do anything in MSCONFIG. I've turned the Windows Security Center always register to off, and I've turned off Chrome protection. I've also turned off Opera protection. None of that made any difference. It's still extremely slow. Even MB is slow to open. It took Outlook almost 5 minutes to open. It's ridiculous.
  14. I had rebooted the computer after I sent you the files, and Malwarebytes was on and slowing everything down, so I exited it. I just went to open it, as you requested, and I get the error message: Unable to start. Unable to connect the service. I then went to services.mcs, and the Malwarebytes service is set to automatic and says it's "stopping." I'm going to reboot and see what happens with that, and I'll follow the steps you outlined. But I wanted to post here what's going on in the meantime, in case it's relevant.
  15. Okay. I've done the clean reinstall with the Malwarebytes support tool, and I'm attaching the report files. My computer is still not responding. For instance, I tried to start Chrome before I started typing this, and it's still not opened - it just opened, and it took about 4 minutes. You asked before if Chrome has been crashing, and it's not. Not that I know of. I mostly use Opera. Thank you. mbst-grab-results.zip mbst-clean-results.txt mb-clean-results.txt mb-check-results.zip
  16. I had the free version previously installed. I have uninstalled using the MB clean uninstall tool. I'll go ahead and use the support tool and report back.
  17. Since I installed Malwarebytes premium, my PC has gotten to where nothing will load. I ran the repair tool, and things seemed better until the PC went into and then out of sleep mode. I have to exit Malwarebytes to even open Opera or Task Manager.
