I recently found my Macbook Pro was infected by the SearchBaron malware, and was told to try Malwarebytes to get rid of it. However, after installing it and beginning a scan, it always freezes on a specific number of files and threats found (in my case 7,391 files and 19 threats) and never scans any more files. I've tried force quitting the application as well as restarting my computer, but neither solves it, and it either continues to stop at the same point or stops even earlier in the scanning process, requiring a complete restart of my computer.
