  1. Thanks. I did just that and it worked perfectly. Thanks to everybody that helped me out.
  2. Thanks for your reply. I have searched the internet for a solution and found that anybody who uninstalled and reinstalled received the same problem.. needed tamper proof password. I j have spent a huge amount of time on this already.
  3. I submitted a ticket stating support tool does not work either without the tpp. This is the reply I received!!!! Hello, Thank you for contacting Malwarebytes. To help us troubleshoot the issue, we'll need you to run our Malwarebytes Support Tool on the computer that is having issues. The support tool automates the collection of information to help us determine the cause of the issue. Refer to the following article for instructions. - Upload Support Tool logs to my Malwarebytes Support ticket Once we have received your logs we'll be in touch as soon as possible. And thank you for joining us in our mission to ensure a malware-free existence for everyone. Jason Todd Director, Customer Support They don't even try... They may be fine with losing customers .. they will if you google the issue you will find hundreds of forums with the same complaint... How can they possibly be efficient in malware detection if they can't even get this right.. Apologies for typos, many cats here. Thanks again Sincerely. [7LLZLG-2PGM5]
  4. yep thats whqt it looks like. Thanks for the time you're taking, I really appreciate it. I do have my licence number but there's no place to put it. When I klik settings it asks for tamper proof pw.
  5. I don't know.. it won't even allow me to update my password when I used licence key plus a small letter.. Really frustrated now... new laptop has mc afee which I hate but looks like I'll be forced to thrash malwarebytes and live with mc afee when in the past paid Malwarebytes plus free [anda virus kept me safe

  7. settings won't allow me to proceed without the tamper proof password is the problem The support tool ditto can't do anything without the TPP
  8. Thanks for replying to me but that wont work. I tried it.
  9. having spent 2 days and thousands of efforts locating my tamper password, whatever that is, none of my passwords work tp allow me to schedule scans since I moved to new laptop with same licence. I now conclude that malwrebytes is actually malware.. A google search shows much frustration about this subject and incorrect answers repeatedly supplied by Malwarebytes staff. I changed my password today but the installed product does not recognise it.. Yesterday I intended adding a new device but the frustration made me cancel that and also to cancel ongoing subs when this useless one now finishes in October.
  10. wow, thanks so much Ron. You guys are amazing. I really appreciate it.
  11. Thanks Firefox. I appreciate your time. I'll wait. Thanks again.
  12. Hi, it's me again. I have been billed twice. I did get a support ticket but no reply after acknowledgement. The night I was downloading I possibly filled it in twice, but my a/c debited twice/ My ticket number is 2759615 I do need one payment reimbursed rather urgently. I'd be grateful if anybody has the time to help please?
