Thanks but the computer is crashed, both motherboatd and hard drive, 4 years on a boat is to much.

I have been unable to start Malewarebytes. I have uninstalled and downlaoded and still unable to start. I get Code C or File being used - Application/Extension is being used by another - .dll file Please note I have a sick computer. I cannot open safe mode and I think I do not have DOS. I have an 05 IBM T42 that is 4 years old and has been on a boat for over 2 years. Some Rust. Computer does not want to start sometimes. I also have infections. I was able to get rid of them before with a reload of Malware but now it will not start.

I try to start Malwarebytes but the computer says Application/Extension is being used by another ...... Is there a way around this?

Hello, I have some maleware and I reinstalled Malwarebytes and I still cannot open Malwarebytes. Computer has come up with "code 2" and "Windowns cannot open zlib.dll". These are the most recent. I have an 05 Thinkpad T42 that the motherboard is in bad shape - does not want to start and does not have save mode access anymore. New battery. XP Pro and system 2. I have read some of the threads. Suggestions? I have not tried System Restore.
