In the last week I've had issues where I am using yahoo, word processing or game programs that are interrupted by a notice of a new malwarebyte update. The notice blacks out my screen except for the notice. I click no to install it and the notice goes away but my computer then runs erratically afterwords and sometimes screen goes black requiring a reset. I've scanned system using malwarebytes and windows and found no problems.
I checked Malewarebytes site and it says last update was 6 March so I'm wondering it this is some kind of hack that is using Malewarebytes to infiltrate my computer. I don't know much about computers so much of what I've read concerning hacks and checking my system is jibberish to me.
Is this really a Malewarebytes update or is it a hack?
